This movie looks like a surprisingly fresh take on a classic story. Everybody has seen Snow White, so making a live action version, some 75 years later, is a bold move. It seems these days that the remake is king, and the idea on the whole is getting a little stale. That being said, Mirror Mirror seems to have broken the mold. Casting Julia Roberts as the villain is guaranteed to get some people in the theater on that alone. She takes the role on with a bravado that makes her really fun to hate. Nathan Lane is also on board, which should provide more than a few laughs. The new Snow White is a relatively unheard of actress named Lily Collins. Also a bold move, but her fresh faced good looks compliment the story well. Snow White, young, beautiful, pure. Collins personifies all of these things. The effects are breathtaking, bringing us into an imaginary world that actually looks like a fairy tale. The costume designer deserves a nod as well for making the characters look almost Victorian, while still existing in this fantasy world. Last, but certainly not least, the dwarves! Snow White’s seven amigos are finally brought to life. Credit the film makers for keeping it real and not just using CGI to create White’s posse. It seems like they’ve gathered a good group of little actors to add that wonderful element to the film. In conclusion, there isn’t much to say other than, if you’re a fan of the original, Mirror Mirror looks like it’ll be favorite of yours as well.

Casa de mi Padre looks very interesting! I usually have certain expectations when it comes to Will Ferrell films, and this movie seemed to defy those. At the beginning, I was not sure what to expect, and if it actually was a comedy or not. I do keep waiting for the day when Will Ferrell will break out of his comedy movies from the past and take on more challening roles. I was also concerned, at the beginning, if the film was going to be making fun of Mexican/South American culture. Certain films, such as Nacho Libre, have walked this line and provoked similar feelings in me. The jury’s still out on that for the moment. I knew that this film was very much going to be a comedy when they started saying “slaps” and “special effects.” Even though it definitely seems to be a comedy, it doesn’t seem to follow the same mold of things I have seen him in in the past. The cinematograpy looks excellent as well. In addition, the movie has for me, personally, two actors whom I will see no matter what they are in: Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal. They are both excellent actors and I definitely admire their work. The fact that Almodovar is the director is a huge draw as well, as I am a big fan of his work and tend to see all of his films. In genereal, this film looks interesting because it looks new and like something I’ve never seen before. That said, you don’t get a sense of the plot of the film from the preview. The movie looks new and intriguing, and I would probably go see it.

Casa De Mi Padre I think that this movie should be a good film to watch at the theater. It should be pretty funny because Will Ferrell is in it and the movies that I have seen him in turns out pretty nice. I just hope that the whole movie will not be in Spanish with English captions in it. I don’t like to watch a movie with a bunch of captions that I have to sit and read while trying to pay attention to the movie. There has been a lot of funny comedy movies that came out lately and hope this one will be pretty good. Most pictures seem to follow the script of other successful shows and that sometime can take away from the originality. This movie looks like something different with an american actor in some type of Spanish style role. I’ll just see how it goes once the movie is set to be released. With all the action movies and horror movies that seem to dominate I think going to the movies for a good laugh is always nice. i would like a movie that I can sit and take my family to as well so I hope that a good laughter is what I will get if I do decide to go see this show. I must admit that it’s been a while since I went to the movies but I do like the atmosphere of it all. It’s something about watching a movie on the big screen that watching the same show at home just wont do. When it’s all said and done the box office numbers will tell the whole story.

Battleship – This movie looks better than I expected. I expected it to have no attachment to the original boardgame, but there were enough references to make me happy. I especially liked the shot at the end from above showing both sets of ships (human and alien) at opposite ends of the screen, mirroring the setup of the original game. Liam Neeson looked like a good character, he is believable as the hardened military general type. The romance plot depicted in the beginning did nothing for me and was actually a little confusing, but I assume it will be less confusing in the actual film. The shots of the alien ships both looked cool and a little derivative, especially of the “Transformers” films. The sounds they made as well, really reminded me of Transformers. But I suppose that makes sense, and doesn’t necessarily hurt my anticipation of the movie. I do wish I recognized more actors, Liam Neeson and Alexander Skarsgard were really the only ones I knew. But Liam Neeson alone does help the movie considerably. Alexander Skarsgard makes me even more interested, I know him mainly from the tv series “True Blood” and really like him there. This seems an odd movie role choice for him, but I like him so much that him being in Battleship makes me want to see it a lot more than I thought I would before. The special effects looked impressive, if a little generic. All the scenes with the alien spaceships were easily the coolest. The explosions of the weapons fire at the very end were especially cool, a lot bigger than I expected them to be. I hope the movie will give me enough to care about specific characters, as it stands I think I’ll enjoy the action sequences but the character work seems very flimsy. The music was very good, I recognized a song by DJ Shadow called “Walkie Talkie”. DJ Shadow is one of my favorite artists, so his music being featured really interested me. I have no way of knowing whether the song will actually be in the movie, but it did its job of interesting me nonetheless.

 What the…?? Now that movie looks rather cool. At first, I thought of other movies. You know, the kind where a man falls in love with the daughter of someone who is higher ranked than in him in his career and he doesn’t get along with him. By the end of the movie, not only are they on good terms but the older man thinks of the man as his son and would be honored to have him as his son-in-law. I am rather pleased to say that it looks like this only starts that way and goes into another direction real fast. I’m not sure if this is going to be an alien movie or maybe it’s a war machine from another country or what. I am very curious though and I couldn’t help but think of the game, Battleship while watching. Although, to be honest, that may have been the whole point. I think Channing Tatum will be good in this. I don’t get the bad rap he has. His acting isn’t perfect but does it have to be? There are a lot worse actors than him and they are making millions and getting enough praise all the time to, well.. sink a battleship. Liam Neeson always delivers a good performance. He has this tough yet vulnerable side that you don’t know whether to really fear him or give him a big hug. I don’t really recognize any of the other actors. The blond who was on the beach with Channing Tatum looks like a typical blond model who will probably be talked about in the movie more than actually shown and heard. The special effects look very promising and it’s definitely a Summer popcorn movie. I may see this in theaters.. I’m not sure. I think I’d have to see and learn more about it first.

The Vow – The Notebook was a real disaster, I just hope this is not going to be something like The Notebook 2. Dear John would have been so much better with someone other than Amanada Seyfried. She did not fit the part at all. I have never been fan of romantic comedies but this little gem could be interesting because it was inspired by the true events. The movie is based on the true story of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter, they published a book about their story called: “The Vow: The Kim and Krickitt Carpenter Story“. This cute romantic drama directed by Michael Sucsy, starring Channing Tatum and incredibly gorgeous Rachel McAdams could be a treat for you and your better half when movie hits the theaters around Valentines day, on 10th of February 2012. Movie is following the story of Paige(Rachel McAdams) and Leo (Channing Tatum), a young married couple whose life was shattered beyond recognition on November 24, 1993. Two months after their marriage, a tragic car wreck left Paige with a severe head injury and in a coma for weeks. When she finally awoke, she had no idea who Leo was. The woman he had married essentially disappeared in the accident. During the movie Leo must fight to make her fall in love with him all over again. I think Rachel and Channing will be great together in this movie. I am just hoping for a great new movie I could watch with my girlfriend.

This film will really exclaimed as touching for its story and screenplay. Director Mr.Michael Sucsy of this film is too soft to work and enjoy the sets. He is a good architect for this kind of set to won in this era. The Couples Mcadams and Tatum were dedicated to complete this project. It is so cute couples chemistry worked between them. Their acting in each emotional and sensitive scenes are so pleasant and jovial. Twisted screenplay in second part of the film will make the audience to groom themselves about the story. This credit will gather the crown for writers Jason Katims and Abby Kohn.

Coriolanus – Can you say Oscar? Here comes another movie based on the works of William Shakespeare and this one doesn’t look half bad. It kind of reminded me of “Schindler’s List”. Although, that’s probably because the movie looks like it came out of World War II. Ralph Fiennes could very easily get a nomination for directing or starring in this movie. He’s always a good actor in whatever he does. My favorite performance of his was in “The English Patient”. I haven’t seen a movie of his where he directed and even though this isn’t usually my kind of movie, it might be worth checking out. Vanessa Redgrave is in it and I have yet to see that woman give anything other lower than an excellent performance. It looks like she’s playing Ralph Fiennes’s mother which to be honest, I can’t quite see that working but I could be wrong. She can make it work. I would say something about the title being hard to say but considering it’s based on a real person, I can’t complain about it too much. I hate movie titles where it’s hard to say the title correctly and half the time you’re’ saying it wrong and sounding like an idiot. I really do think this movie will be nominated for Oscars and win a few. The Academy loves movies like this. It’s got what appears to be a bit of romance, fighting, a hero and it’s based on a true story. They will eat it up!!

I am waiting for the release of the movie. I also recommend this movie to those who love action thriller movies. Not all thriller movies have a good storyline but a few, and this movies sounds a great story. This will make you feel the action. Wanderlust: I see that the name speaks for itself, its a romantic, fun filled, full of comedy and obviosly an intersting story. How it goes is the leading characters, Goerge and Linda who love each other and enjoy each others company were living there life happily in a fast paced life style. Everything was going well till then, as there will be a twist in all the stories even here, George will be fired and out of earning. When he was in a hunt for a new job, his brother offered a job and they need to move to a new place to join in the job. George joined in a new job, everything was well except the strange and dominating behaviour of his brother at work. He tries to bare it, but was touching the peaks and decides to leave the place. George and Linda, left that place and when they were wondering where to go, they end up joining an Elysium community and they decide to stay for two weeks or a month and give it a shot, as tthey did’t had any other option. They will find it difficult in the beginning to adjust in there living style, but later they actually live those moments, enjoy being there and have loads of fun along with the other people in the community. Story is quite intersting! Its a really new concept of people being in a different community and live happliy. I would surely look forward to watch it!

Directed by the director of role models film (David Wain) which is so cute to enjoy with family. The actors in this film George and Linda have a good chemistry of couples. I thought that the film will be too funny enjoyable. Director Mr. David will won the best director for this movie. The second part of the movie, which will be shown as a excursion or honeymoon trip by the couples George and Linda will be so enjoyable. Director gives the movie as like the way of ‘Role Models’. But Wanderlust will be more tasteful than Role models, because of its highly sensing Humor. This movie is not containing any adult contents or horror moments. Hence it can be shown to all categories of human. So the interest will be too good for this kind of movie. It can earn good to the Universal Productions also. The thinking of the director is too appreciable while it will compete with the action films also.  Because the time of release of the movie will be very important of economic records. The movie is expected to be a great success in the theaters due to its unique features and theme. The theme of the movie has attracted many children towards it. Though the theme of zombie invasion is quite familiar, the movie features a new way of interpretation. This itself is the reason for the children being attracted by the movie. Paranorman: Who’s kidding who here? Okay, let me start off with the positives. I love the title. It’s unique and a great play on words on one of the biggest horror movie franchises in decades. It’s very clever and I really thought I would find it cute and original. But the more I was watching, the more I thought “Huh??” Some of the parts were gross, stupid and just plain weird. Surely, this couldn’t be aimed at kids. There looked like a big, black bug crawling out of someone’s nose. That is just sick. Kids get enough nightmares. Are you trying to make them afraid to go to sleep because they will be worrying about a big, black bug crawling out of their nose? The animation looked okay, I guess. Nothing exciting or different. It looks like this movie would either scare kids or they would find it boring. And what was that near the end with the kid brushing his teeth? It looked like a bunch of white gunk was sticking to his teeth. This isn’t the kind of stuff kids want to see. Surely, whoever made this can try harder. They did a great job on the title, now work on the movie. I thought this was going to be a comedy with a bit of a spoof on horror. It looks more like a boring spoof wannabe with a memorable title but a forgettable story.

Big Miracle is not short of being dubbed a fantastic movie, based and inspired by a true incident and story. The plot of Big Miracle takes the viewers to the hidden and untold danger the whales and other aquatic mammals face deep in the hidden surface of ocean sandwiched between the merciless ocean water and the thick ice formation above the surface. The movie offers thrilling moments and stunning aquatic scenes, as a local news reporter, his ex-girlfriend who is a Greenpeace activist races to save three trapped whales in the arctic, racing ahead time and hoping against hope. A team is formed which doesn’t looses i courage and tries and garners all the support from which ever quarter to aid in the rescue operation. After the free Willey series of movies, Big Miracle promises all the action,emotions, heart thumping moments and not to mention the climatic scenes which makes it a must watch movie this season. The direction by Ken Kwapis is spot on, and special credit must be given to the breath taking cinematography. Drew Barrymore, John Krasinski and Vinessa Shaw does justice to their roles. A nice movie which offers a power packed entertainment for the whole family this season.

The movie is expected to be able to break the previous records of the series as it is composed of many spicy elements that would be capable for making the movie a superb one. The heroes are equipped with more and more tricks and they are ready to have some fun at the beach with the hot girls.

As a great fan of the series, I expect this movie to be a great one. I have a lot of expectations on this movie. And we all think the honorable directors won’t let us down. I am really waiting impatiently for its release. The anomalies prevailing around the movie is just helping in its promotion.American Reunion, seems like a very funny movie, this shows how different we are when we grow up, however shows that no matter how old we are we still have a part of us that misses the years when we had no resposibilites and no commitments. The characters are the same which makes the movie goers that have seen the first one want to see this one even more, Jim, Michelle, Vickey, Finch, Jim, Jims day and Stifler, my favorites of corse are Jim, Michelle and Stifler, and Stifler’s mom. The only part I didn’t like was Stifler hitting on highschool girls; this is kinda of creepy and not sure I would want to watch a movie that has a middle age guy hitting on teenage girls. This is quite a turn off if I did not see this part I would have gone to see this movie however I now have second thoughts this is not funny nor moral and puts thoughts in some pervents mind that it is ok to hit on children. All and all I think this will be a funny movie with good characters, great for all of the people who i stuck it there everyday lives, this will make them want to get out of the everyday routines and do something different. I believe this will motivate all of the middle age movie goers to make some time for them to have some fun and bring out the old teenager and just let go for at least the 2 or so hours they watch this movie and will leave feeling renewed again at least till they wake up and go to work the next day.

The movie seems a combined package of action & adventure, horror, suspense & mystery, fantasy, I am really very curious about this movie and can’t wait for its release. So I urge Nicholas Cage fans to please watch this as it will be an enjoyable ride.

This movie awakens my curiousity and looks like it will be a suspenseful thriller involving Liam Neeson and tragic circumstances. A flashback to a mystery woman in his life provides mystery. Who is she? What is their past togeher and will she be a positive or negative force on his character? He faces life and death decisions from the apparent plane crash to survival amongst the native wolves of the wilderness. We see this women in the corners of his mind explode into the reality of his situation. Will she be enough to sustain his instinct for survival or will her intrusions into his mind be his downfall? This movie appears to be an exciting and thrilling ride into the deepest wilderness and the challenges of a man living in the past with his future in doubt. In a confrontaional scene with his adversary we see Liam Neeson armed with the shattered remnants of the mini liquor bottles from the airplane affixed to his fingers as he prepares to do battle with the grey wolf. Will this improvised weapon prevail? Or is he woefully inadequate for the task at hand? There are other survivors of the crash with him. Do they band together to face their survival, or are there other adversaries Liam must face besides those of the wild? Do the others succomb to the threats in the wilderness one by one until only the main character is left alone to survive victoriously? These are the questions that must be answered. Playing a pack of retirees looking for a cheap place to kick it (you know, until they die), the group sets off for distant India (exotic! and best! now with more marigolds!) to a rehabbed hotel that’s been marketed as a swank retirement home that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Of course, said hotel isn’t quite up to snuff. Adventures will be had, lessons will be learned, something about saris and curry, and so on and so forth. This is a 3D animation movie full of action, of laughter and suspense. The premise is similar to that of other popular pirate movies – that these characters known to be sinister, ruthless, vicious and cruel really are not that bad at all. In fact, the movie starts off introducing the lead character as the most feared and vicious character of all … and then presents a bumbling, likable character. His crew are the band of misfits… including a fish cleverly disguised as a pirate. When the queen hears that the pirates are approaching, she exclaims “I hate pirates!” – hence the other well know plot where the good guys are actually the bad guys and the bad guys are the good guys … you know where I am going. So … to truly enjoy the movie, you must check at the door your knowledge of history, your appreciation for realism (and even a sense of justice!) and decide to simply have a good time. There is one part in the movie that I find particularly distasteful, however: he mistakenly boards a leper ship demanding their gold. When one of them informs him that they are lepers, you see an arm falling off of this most unfortunate victim. I believe we should never give the impression that disease is laughable, particularly when children are our audience! But other parts promise to be exciting… particularly when the huge sea monster appears, capable of easily swallowing huge ships. I do believe the movie will be interesting… but not for younger children. Sexual innuendo and just the premise that pirates are “good guys” even when they are deemed as vicious is not the message for young children who do not yet exercise proper judgment. And the arm falling off? Not appropriate for any age!

The through out movie is awesome with one weakness of us that this movie is purely an animated movie with great effects and great sound. Pirates in this movie and all other things makes you feel real ones. The animation is so good that i m unable to discribe it. The stars in the movie did a great job with full efforts of them. Stars are Salma Hayek, Hugh Grant, Jeremy Piven, Brenden Glison, Brian Blessed and Lenny Henry they put there voice in this film and give it a Heartbeats. This movie got too many zeroes too in it with a huge Budget. This movie Approx. budget is 60,000,000. I will personnally watch this movie because I like this trailer and can judge that movie will be juss great so are you guys coming on 30/03/2012.  John Carter – Disney’s version of “Avatar”? Okay, come on now.. this idea has been done so many times. Not even the main character’s name feels original. Surely, I wasn’t the only one thinking of the tv show “ER” while watching this. This has been done so many times, it’s not even funny. Someone comes along and is in a new environment, very different from his own. He meets a group of individuals who are very different from him and he is their only hope for survival and what do you know? He manages to succeed. It reminds me a lot of “Avatar”. At least that changed a few things. I have nothing really against a “one person can save the world” type of movie other than the fact that they are all the same. They all follow the same formula. How much do you want to bet the character of John Carter falls in love with the woman who is no doubt, very well connected to everyone he is trying to save and she will be what motivates him to fight to save their world? Oh and about the special effects. Nothing exciting. It acts like it’s going to make your jaw fall and be like “Wow”, but the actors didn’t even look like they were that impressed and were having a hard time faking it. I’m sorry if I sound jaded, but Hollywood is getting very predictable. The title isn’t even have any sense of uniqueness. I really thought Disney tried harder than this. At least they used to. I’m not sure what’s happened to them. There are also no known stars, a way too familiar plot.. I predict, FLOP!!

It’s another great movie by Andrew Stanton. I really love to watch Sci-Fi movies. This movie looks awesome. John Carter wakes up in Mars. While watching this I thought what would happen if I was in the same place. Who can even think of living in a foreign planet without knowing anything? Many obstacles lie ahead! This movie will be one of the great movies of the decade. What I like in this movie is the shots of what is supposed to be the Mars landscape. It’s well designed so that the viewer feels like living on Mars. Also, the massive battles with the aliens are eye-catching. Lot’s of actions can be seen in this movie. This movie is based on Action, Adventure, Fantasy & Sci-Fi Genres. I really like the costume in this movie. They are well designed for the Mars Landscape. It also feels like living in ancient Greece. But, It’s eye-catching. John Carter stars great actors including Bryan Cranston, Mark Strong, Taylor Kitsch, & Dominic West. It’s really good to see them altogether in this movie. Another thing I like in this movie is the visual effects. They are quite nice as well. Also, the sound effects are great. They gives the feeling that we’re living on the scenes. The most interesting part in this movie is the massive battle between the aliens. It’s not just a fight. They have used lot of effects to make the scenes look real. The actions are great. In my opinion this movie will be a great Hit!
