Movie: Courageous (2011)

Courageous posterCourageous is a story of five fathers in law enforement.Among them one is a bit protective about his kids and still maintains a perfect relationship with his family. Another had left his girlfriend and his child. The third is a Hispanic worker struggling to find a role in the country where his work permit does not allow him to earn a living.The fourth is a divorced with visiting rights on him. The final lead is a father finds no connection with his children(a son and a daughter) as he spent his life giving much more preference to his own job.

When a tragedy enters into this friends circle, the men realise the importance of family. The men begin a journey to connect with their loved ones. The story is about the role and influence of in a family and society. It also speaks alot on the role of men and ability to bring up healthy and strong kids. Courageous in the end offers great action scenes, some fun moments and not to forget the very important and hard to evoke emotional reaction for the audience.

The movie stars Alex Kendrick, Ken Bevel and Kevin Downes.
