Tagline: It looked like the perfect bank robbery. But you can't judge a crime by its cover.

Trivia: According to an interview with Spike Lee, Ron Howard was going to direct the film. But Russell Crowe showed him Cinderella Man (2005), and Howard went off to do that instead.

Goofs: Incorrectly regarded as goofs: When the bank robbers first walk into the bank they are all wearing the white suits. As soon as they go into the basement they make them all take off their clothes and put them into that little white bag (as you see at the end of the movie). During this whole process, while they ask each hostage if they knew who was who, it has been suggested that all they had to have done was match each persons clothes with the person. They also could have matched each persons cell phone with the person. All the robbers would need to do is put clothes and cell phones in the bags for the robbers to claim as having been theirs.
