Straw Dogs posterStraw Dogs- it’s a thriller movie about a couple, writer (James Marsden) and his wife (Kate Bosworth) relocating in Deep South. The plot revolves around the strain between the two and the local folks where series of provoking episodes unfold at a cutting edge pace.

The feel of the movies is well captured by director (Rod Lurie) with the countryside landscape and character based performances captured in their true sense.

The movie is all about a couples survival vis-à-vis the irritated group of people in the wife’s hometown. The credited cast in the movie James Marsden (David Sumner) and Kate Bosworth (Amy Sumner) have shouldered the entire film with their concrete performances followed by Alexander Skarsgård (Charlie). It’s a good movie to watch for guys who look out for crime and fast paced action genre. Well!! Already postponed; a much awaited movie releasing in the second half of this year (16th September 2011).
