Movie: The Change-Up (2011)

‘The Change- Up’ is a fun filled comedy starring Jason Bateman, Ryan Reynolds and Olivia Wilde and is directed by David Dobkin who had also directed the romantic comedy, “Wedding Crashers” that was released in 2005. This time David brings us a R-rated comedy that involves the classic body-switching idea between two best buddies Dave(Jason Bateman) and Mitch(Ryan Reynolds) who were brought up together but later get drifted away with time. While Dave is a happily married man and a father of three, Mitch remains single. Dave is a lawyer and Mitch remains unemployed. They envied and wished for each other’s lifestyle’s. One night they both get drunk and find in the morning that they have switched bodies with each other. Then it gets quite easy for Dave to put into action, his secret desires for his hot and irresistible legal associate, Sabrina(played by Olivia Wilde). However, as time flies they both realize that it wasn’t quite easy to take each other’s place and before things gets complicated enough to ruin their lives any further they try and find a way to get back to normal. Mitch’s Dad has been played by Alan Arkin and Dave’s wife is the gorgeous Leslie Mann who is known as Jamie in the movie. The producer of the movie is Neal Moritz who also made the famous action packed “Fast and Furious”. The Change-Up would indeed be a perfect package of absolute fun and humor, combined together. So, make sure you grab a seat in a theater near you, when it releases on August 5(2011).
