Big Miracle is brought out by Universal Studio which in past has various successful movie titles released. Big Miracle is not short of being dubbed a fantastic movie, based and inspired by a true incident and story. The plot of Big Miracle takes the viewers to the hidden and untold danger the whales and other aquatic mammals face deep in the hidden surface of ocean sandwiched between the merciless ocean water and the thick ice formation above the surface. The movie offers thrilling moments and stunning aquatic scenes, as a local news reporter, his ex-girlfriend who is a Greenpeace activist races to save three trapped whales in the arctic, racing ahead time and hoping against hope. A team is formed which doesn’t looses i courage and tries and garners all the support from which ever quarter to aid in the rescue operation. After the free Willey series of movies, Big Miracle promises all the action,emotions, heart thumping moments and not to mention the climatic scenes which makes it a must watch movie this season. The direction by Ken Kwapis is spot on, and special credit must be given to the breath taking cinematography. Drew Barrymore, John Krasinski and Vinessa Shaw does justice to their roles. A nice movie which offers a power packed entertainment for the whole family this season.

The True Story… Inspired by the true story that captured the hearts of people across the world, the rescue adventure Big Miracle tells the amazing tale of a small town news reporter (John Krasinski) and a Greenpeace volunteer (Drew Barrymore) who are joined by rival world superpowers to save a family of majestic gray whales trapped by rapidly forming ice in the Arctic Circle. Local newsman Adam Carlson (Krasinski) can’t wait to escape the northern tip of Alaska for a bigger market. But just when the story of his career breaks, the world comes chasing it, too. With an oil tycoon, heads of state and hungry journalists descending upon the frigid outpost, the one who worries Adam the most is Rachel Kramer (Barrymore). Not only is she an outspoken environmentalist, she’s also his ex-girlfriend. With time running out, Rachel and Adam must rally an unlikely coalition of Inuit natives, oil companies and Russian and American military to set aside their differences and free the whales. As the world’s attention turns to the top of the globe, saving these endangered animals becomes a shared cause for nations entrenched against one another and leads to a momentary thaw in the Cold War.
