Charlie St. Cloud is a movie about a character named Charlie (played by Zach Efron). He is a young student who is going to attend Stanford. He has a younger brother who we see in the beginning of the film. He and his brother make a pact to practice pitching so that the younger brother can become better at pitching. While driving, they get into an accident. Charlie has to watch his brother die when a truck smashes into the side of their car. Charlie has a very hard time with this and cannot let go of his brother. The symbolic glove, which represents, his brother and their promise was supposed to dropped into his brothers grave. Instead he keeps it and runs deep into the forest.

While running through the trees Charlie slips and falls and the ball is dropped. Somehow it rolls back, and to his amazement it’s his brother! Charlie can somehow see his dead brother and even talk to him. They play catch, learn to pitch, and hang out everyday. Then Charlie meets a girl who he seems to like very much. He starts to forget about his brother, and this guilt causes a lot of pain. He even argues with his younger brother because he feels like he is being forgotten.

This movie looks very interesting. It combines a lot of emotions together. Love, lost, memory, and moving on. Zach Efron is at his performance peak in this film. He must decide what the right thing is to do. Should he move on, or should he hold on to the promise he made with his brother? I would like to go see this movie as soon as it come out. It has a great story and great acting in it as well. I would rate this movie an 7 out of 10. It looks like it might be very sad, and I hate sad movies but maybe it will be a movie about moving on and hope however.
