Trivia: Despite the fact that the film takes place in New York City, most of the shooting took place in Louisiana due to budgetary restrictions, where most of the crew’s homes had been destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Only a few additional scenes shot after principal production were shot in New York.

Goofs: Anachronisms: At one point Mena Suvari’s character Richie Berlin states that the drug cocktail she’s shooting includes Adderall. This is a goof because Adderall wasn’t brought to market until 1996.
