Our lives are defined by moments especially the ones…we never see coming.  The movie, The Next Three Days, starring Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks, looks absolutely amazing. It begins with the happy family scene, father (Russell Crowe) and son playing at the breakfast table. Mom, named Laura, (Elizabeth Banks), comes into the room and snaps a family picture. The very next thing we see is the police swarming the house, devastating the family with the news that they are arresting Laura for murder. You can easily watch The Next Three Days online by clicking one of the buttons below the movie trailer on this page. Needless to say, three lives are turned upside down. Russel Crowe is told by lawyers that there is no hope, the evidence against Laura is too much and too convincing, that she will never get out of prison. Meanwhile, while incarcerated, Laura attempts suicide. This prompts Russell Crowe to do something he, as a law abiding citizen, has no idea going about. He is going to break Laura out of prison. In a diner, Russel Crowe has a “meeting” with Liam Neeson.

Apparently Liam Neeson’s character has been the only man to escape from the prison where Laura is being kept. He gives Russel Crowe’s character some hard truths. He tells him that he is going to have to be ready to kill ANYBODY, the prison guard, a child in a gas station, to get away clean with his wife. Liam Neeson also tells Russell Crowe that once it is discovered that Laura has escaped the city will shut down within a certain amount of time, and the police won’t stop to ask questions. They will shoot to kill. Once Laura has escaped from prison, lots of action and car chases ensue. The cliffhanger to this showing is Russell Crowe, reaching for Laura who is upside down, as a semi is shown coming at the couple. Will they make it? Will they get out of the city and live happily ever after? I don’t know, but this clip from the movie The Next Three days had me on the edge of my seat. I will definitely go to see this awesome looking action movie.
