It is the hard work of two friends, their struggle to create a site wherein they can search for their long lost classmates, friends. They can get access to others’ profiles including photos, only if the other person want to share his details and get connected. This movie also shows the introduction of facebook where you can get connected to twenty two thousand people in just two hours.

The movie SOCIAL NETWORK will release this october. The cast includes Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake, Joe Mazzello and Rashida Jones. Eisenberg plays Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg; Timberlake plays Sean Parker, the Napster co-founder who became Facebook’s founding president; and Andrew Garfield plays Eduardo Saverin, the Facebook co-founder who fell out with Zuckerberg over money. The movie tells us the problems faced in making a social network site. Plot revolves around the Writer who announced on his Facebook page that he is going to be writing a movie about the popular social networking site. Mark Zuckerberg created the site in 2004 at Harvard during his sophomore year. It now has over 400 million members worldwide. Though the site faced many problems in its initial days it was a grand success and gave a new meaning to friendship and networking. The film shows how initially two friends started out the creation, the problems and hardships they encountered and ended up in one of them suing the other for 600 million dollars. The movie SOCIAL NETWORK is worth watching.

I feel like I can really relate to this move, as I am also a college student trying to make it big in the online world. We both realize how much power the internet holds, and what it can do in terms of profits when harnessed correctly. The interesting thing is that with the internet it is very easy to step across certain boundaries with or without knowing it. To achieve things you sometimes have to use the major player’s own power against them, their own ideas against them. You have to create something that people like so you look at what already exists and move from there. I’m looking forward to watching The Social Network online because the trailer alone is pretty interesting. I can definitely see a lot of people not really getting this movie, but it really is inspiring to me. To see success happen on the internet is a very big deal.
